THE ROLE

You will play key a part in the smooth and efficient running of the Finance team by providing operational and transactional assistance.

This means a range of tasks from onboarding new clients and suppliers into our systems or managing purchases as you gain experience and on-the-job training which could lead to formal study.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working closely within a small team to assist with overall operations of the Finance function
- Support duties related to accounts payable and receivable functions
- Onboarding new clients and suppliers
- Verifying supplier bank details (across multiple currencies)
- Processing supplier Invoices accurately and timely
- Processing company credit card purchases and staff expense claims
- Maintaining the Purchase Order process
- Assisting with the Sales Ledger
- Bank reconciliation (multi currency banking transactions)
- Supporting the finance team wherever necessary (resolving queries/problem solving)
- Ensuring all processes and procedures are performed timely and accurately and to contribute to the development of processes.
- Involvement in ad hoc projects from other internal stakeholders

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- AAT qualified or currently studying the AAT qualification (study support available)
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a finance function
- An enthusiastic approach to working in finance with a keen eye for detail
- Competent using Microsoft Excel/Google Docs
- Experience in Xero is desirable
