Stock Controller

**Job Overview**:

- An experienced Stores manager/lead to operate and manage a busy stores function at a pharmaceutical site in Hertfordshire. Our client is a leading business within the sector with the opportunity for an experienced Storeman to join the team.
- **You will be responsible for**:

- An number of large stores and smaller satellite stores at a single campus in Ware Hertfordshire
- Procuring, monitoring and maintaining stock levels of stores inventory and maintenance consumables
- The repurchasing of spares and allocating to the correct location on site and within the main site site/satellite stores area
- Innovating the current ways of working and bringing best practice to enable the total lifecycle of consumables, critical spares and site stock.

**Main Duties**
- Ensuring spares are used in accordance with agreed procedures
- Managing the stores area to ensure location of stock is easy to identify and protected from unauthorised use
- Identyfying repeat stock request to allow first time fix rates to improve
- Procuring, monitoring and maintaining stock and undertaking stock checks to pre-agreed timetables
- Supporting on outage planning, scheduling and coordination and ensuring spares are available on time
- Other duties as required
- Liaising with the planning teams, third parties and our engineering teams to fully understand, set up and maintain the correct stock and levels required

**What we are looking for**:

- Proven experience managing and setting up stores/spares in a high-value stock control process
- An understanding of maintenance/engineering is preferred
- Working knowledge of Excel and Excel processes is essential for this role
