Role overview

The Student Services Coordinator (SSC) will be a critical member of the College Services Team and will be responsible for the coordination of the Student Services department as well as leading on key aspects of the student life cycle. They will work in collaboration with the Senior Manager of Student Services to support the delivery of an outstanding student experience that meets the learning and personal needs of our undergraduate and postgraduate students.

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual with experience in supporting colleagues in a professional setting, who is passionate about helping students and fostering a positive learning environment. The role requires a high-energy, self-starter who is able to use their initiative to coordinate the Student Services Team, as well as be an active and productive member of a cross-functional team.

Ideally you will possess these top skills:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Work experience in an administrative or customer service role
- Experience of upholding and imparting policy and regulations
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of working with and meeting the needs of different stakeholders
- Experience handling and prioritising multiple workloads
- Experience of working with data systems
- Knowledge of equal opportunity, equity and workplace health and safety principles

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and oversee the workload of the Student Services Officers to ensure all operational imperatives of the college are conducted to a high standard
- Coordinate the college frontline services, including the reception desk, ensuring student and visitor enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner
- Take a primary role in onboarding new Student Services Officers and Interns
- Assist the Senior Manager of Student Services (SMoSS) in efficiently organising and managing the student registration and induction processes
- Serve as a liaison between students and various campus resources
- Provide comprehensive support to students, addressing their academic and personal needs
- Lead the implementation of student support programs and key college initiatives, including the LaunchPad and Next Generation programme to promote student development
- Collaborate with Program Element Leaders and faculty staff to coordinate integration and transitional events
