**HR Administrator**

We have an exciting HR Administrator role within a leading youth charity that helps shape the lives of young people.

The aim of this amazing charity is to help improve the lives of young people in North London by giving them somewhere to go, something to do, and someone to talk to.

**Position**: HR Administrator

**Location**: Edgware, London

**Salary**: £22,000-£25,000 per annum pro rata depending on experience

**Hours**: 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE)

**Contract**: Part-time

**About the role**:
As the HR Administrator, you will provide a wide range of Human Resources and administrative support for the Youth Zone, its staff, and volunteers. You will be responsible for ensuring that HR processes are accurate, efficient, and legally compliant andthat the HR systems are maintained and used effectively. This role will also include the full spectrum of employee lifecycle activities from onboarding to off-boarding and everything in between. You will also play a key role in the preparation of timely andaccurate information for monthly payroll.

To be successful in the role of HR Administrator, you will be a welcoming, professional, organised, proactive and positive individual, who is passionate about young people and the communities the youth zone serves. You will be someone with excellent writtenand verbal communication skills with the ability to cope with multiple demands and deadlines. You will demonstrate the organisation’s values through all you do and will commit to giving your best every session for young people.

**You will also need to bring with you the following skills and experience**:

- Some experience in administrative functions in a work or other setting
- Experience in working within a team and prioritising work
- Experience in organising tasks and activities to ensure that priorities are met
- Willingness to support the Youth Work team in ensuring a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for all young people
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of computers and relevant software such as MS Office
- Excellent attention to detail, thorough and organised

Although not essential previous experience of working with young people and a knowledge of the issues which affect them would be beneficial. As would experience using a membership system or database.
