Housekeeping / Domestic Supervisor

**Role: Housekeeping Supervisor**

**Location: La Fontana Nursing Home, Martock**

**Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 09.00-17.00, includes alternate weekends.**

**Salary: £11.60 per hour (+ £2 p/h overtime enhancement)**

**THE ROLE**

Here at Notaro Care Homes, we believe it is a privilege to provide care and support for the people in our homes. As the Housekeeping Supervisor you will lead a team of Housekeepers; from completing duty rota's, ensuring the Housekeeping Team is adequately staffed at all times, to ensuring staff have the required cleaning materials.

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home in line with Infection Control and Health and Safety guidelines.

You will consult with residents on a regular basis to ensure their needs and choices are being met.

You will also be required to undertake the general cleaning of designated area’s, ensuring both tidiness and hygiene are kept to an impeccable standard at all times. This can include; changing and making beds, emptying waste bins and laundry duties.

**THE RIGHT PERSON**
- Will have experience working in a similar setting
- Experience of leading a team is desirable
- Must be prepared to train and complete required qualifications for the post.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work both as a team member and on own initiative.
- Must demonstrate a loyalty, flexibility and commitment to the Care Home.
- Be able to carry out any other necessary duties as agreed with Directors/Operations Team.
- Experience of leading a team would be advantageous.
