Positive Steps Care & Support Ltd are looking for dedicated Support Workers in the Ivybridge area, to support a 24/7 Package of Care, supporting a lady with mental health needs.

We are recruiting people who share the same vision, to make a real difference to the people who choose to use our service within their homes and in the community, to live a fulfilled life to achieve their goals and aspirations.

This position is for Daytime and Waking Night Support Workers.

**_To enable support, responsibilities include: _**

Ø Assisting and encouraging with the personal care routine.

Ø Assisting with the administration of medication.

Ø Assisting with all aspects of the person who use our service daily living.

**_Requirements for this position: _**

Ø The successful applicant will be an active, enthusiastic individual with a positive attitude who is prepared to facilitate the needs of the person we support.

Ø Health and Social Care experience is preferred although not essential.

Ø We look for confident, outgoing, innovative individuals who can enable and support our packages.

Ø A full clean driving licence is preferred, although not essential.

Ø A comprehensive training package, including provision of mandatory training, role specific training and inclusion on QCF level 2 (dependent on your current qualifications).

Ø You will have a dedicated care manager and access to our 24 hour On-call service with ongoing training and supervision. There are friendly and knowledgeable staff in head office who are always happy to assist.
