Service care solutions currently have an exciting position for a Deputy Manager within a well rated, national foster agency to work within a home in Leicester. You will be responsible for effective day to day running of the residential home, to be responsiblefor a team of staff and work allocations as well as undertaking direct work with children in the residential home when necessary. You will also be responsible for all aspects of the residential premises and the staff within.
Their aim is to provide young people with the opportunity to encounter a normal, ordinary experience in order to provide them with the building blocks to develop in their everyday lives
Your daily role will be to support the staff and children within the home and ensure that daily needs are met while ensuring that the company's policy and procedures are meeting all regulations.
You will need to ensure that a safe environment is provided for the young children while promoting the development of each individual to help them gain new skills and get through any sensitive needs necessary.
The role provides additional perks and discounts in a wide range of stores such as Starbucks, Boots and many more.
This role if full time and may require some weekend work up to 40h a week.
For this role you will need:
Health and social care experience - level 3 or NVQ within this sector.
You will also need previous experience working with children and understating of their needs
DBS will be required
