Ks1 Teacher

**Year 1 Teacher - Maternity cover, Audenshaw (M34), Full-time, Temporary**

This is an exciting opportunity to become involved with a high-achieving, well-resourced school, renowned for its academic excellence. The role will primarily involve planning and teaching lessons to meet the needs of the curriculum and children within theclass, as well as involvement in extra curicular activities where possible. The Teacher will be expected to work in the Year 1 Class and must be confident in their abilities to provide a safe, thriving learning environment for the pupils.

Duties involve:

- _Providing learning support to students across in Year 1 _
- _Tracking progress of students and monitoring learning to help raise attainment_
- _Having sound understanding of literacy, numeracy and phonics _
- _Liaising with parents to give the children the best chance to be successful in their learning journey _

Essential Requirements:

- _Must hold QTS_
- _Have experience working with KS1_
- _Have excellent references to support your previous experience _
- _Have the legal right to work in the UK_

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
