**This position is located at the British government facility in Northwood (London) England.**
Primary responsibilities are in the areas of Systems Administration, Cybersecurity/Information Assurance, and Site Support. The position may, but rarely, require work outside normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays in support of customer exercises and/or real world crisis situations.
Responsibilities Include:
- Administering and maintaining several suites of PC clients running Windows, Microsoft Office, TMPC software and other 3rd party COTS/GOTS
- Administering and maintaining servers running Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, TMPC software and other 3rd party COTS/GOTS running in a virtualized environment
- Administering and maintaining other network hardware and network storage devices
- Managing warranty/inventory/service activity for above assets
- Installing and configuring hardware (client PCs, servers, network storage devices, networks)
- Installing and configuring Microsoft/Windows operating systems, TNT/TMPC program software, as well as 3rd party COTS/GOTS
- Tracking and installing periodic software security updates and patches
- Providing help desk support to on-site military personnel regarding use of TNT/TMPC enterprise computing environment
- Interfacing with external users and other on-site contractors regarding TNT/TMPC enterprise computing environment
- Providing clear and concise status reporting in support of programmatic documentation requirements
- Updating and maintaining system installation procedures and system administration documentation for customer facility
- Suggesting and making changes to improve system configurations, installation processes, system performance

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical, Engineering, or Computer Information Systems related degree required or equivalent related experience to include military work experience (United States Air Force [USAF], United States Navy [USN] or United States Marine Corps [USMC]).
- CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent, in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II baseline certification.
- Experience in operations, management and support of NAS\\SAN storage technologies.
- Experience/Training in Client/Server architecture, large-scale imagery storage, and database management.
- Experience/Training in Windows operating systems.
- Ability to support site operations and system sustainment activities.
- Ability to communicate (verbal, written) with Government users to include several other contractors.
- Excellent customer interface and customer relations are a key aspect of this position.
- Ability to communicate (verbal, written, phone) with BAE Systems Software Leads and Systems Leads.
- Demonstrated Knowledge of good problem solving skills, work habits, and system troubleshooting skills.
- Self-starter with ability to multitask.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
