**We are looking for Multiskilled Yard Operatives**

At our Production site based in Isleham, Cambridgeshire we are looking for a diligent, self-motivated team player who can exceed in their duties to help us retain our position as a leading conventional roots supplier in the UK.

You will join us on a fulltime permanent contract.

Our day shift operates on a Panama shift pattern arrangement (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on 2 days off. 2 days on, 3 days off) working 05:30 - 18:15.

**The job role**

As a Multiskilled Yard Operative you will be responsible for the operations within a busy yard environment. The responsibilities of the role include:

- Load and unload vehicles with FLT: trays, pallets, packaging, machinery, etc
- Load bulk trailers using the teleporter, in correct stock rotation.
- Move empty and full trailers around our Yard area as well as to TBG, using shunter.
- Keep control of empty boxes in the yard, quarantine any damaged boxes. Report to Line Manager when time is required for repairs and cleaning of boxes.
- Complete and record daily start up checks on any MHE equipment used and report any faults/ damages to you Line Manager.
- Empty the stone trailer as required, using the tractor unit and load soil/ stones when required for collection.
- Assist the Engineering team in moving heavy equipment.
- Collect the labels from the boxes and control traceability on the yard using the Navision system.
- Promote the Health and Safety of yourself and your colleagues, communicating any risks to your Line Manager.

**What we will be looking for in your skills set**
- License/experience operating FLT, Shunter, Telehandler and Tractor.
- Previous experience of operating heavy equipment.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload working in a fast-moving environment.
- Good team player

**Job Type**: Permanent
