Hotel Night Porter

Pontlands Park is family run 35-bedroom, 3-star hotel on the outskirts of the city of Chelmsford, offering 5-star service and standards to all its guests. We are looking for a **Night Porter**

For this role, we are seeking an experienced hotel night porter with a proven record in delivering excellent customer service to all guests staying at the hotel. Excellent command of English language both written and spoken is a must.

Your main duties will include:

- Deal with all guest enquiries in a professional manner.
- Have a knowledge & experience of some food & beverage service
- Answering any telephone calls
- Responsible for the safety of the Hotel & surrounding car park area
- General cleaning duties around the hotel

The hours of work for this position will be between 11pm and 8am

The position available is for a minimum of 2 nights per week and a maximum of 4 nights per week. Working Sunday through to Wednesday.

You must have a flexible approach to work various shift patterns and be able to work evenings and weekends, sometimes at short notice to cover sickness.

Due to location of the hotel, own transport is essential.
