RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a manufacturer of printed circuit boards and printed circuit board assemblies supplying to a wide range of industries including medical, broadcast, automotive, lighting, and others.

With exciting expansion plans on the horizon, several positions are required to implement the controls that will play a pivotal role in enabling this growth.

We are seeking SMT Operators to program, run, and monitor the automatic component placement on Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) in accordance with daily schedules.

**The Role**

As an SMT Operator, your primary duties would include programming Pick & Place, loading components and running the machine, operating reflow ovens, conducting a visual inspection to ensure good quality products to IPC standards and hand fitting components where necessary. Other duties may be assigned to the jobholder by the Production Manager.

**Skills and Experience**

To be considered for this position, you should have experience in machine operation, although not necessarily with SMT machines as full training can be provided.

As an SMT Operator, you will need to demonstrate a commitment to quality and consistency and the ability to remain calm under pressure within a time-critical process environment.

In return for your dedication and experience, we offer the following:

- Starting salary of £21,000 upwards depending on experience
- Regular overtime.
- Annual holiday entitlement of 28 days, including statutory days.

**Salary**: £21,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Clydebank: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
