About Revenue Operations:
The role of Revenue Operations team is to maximise revenue potential by removing friction in the customer journey. As a Revenue Operations Business Partner, you will play a key role within your division to drive the productivity and effectiveness of the sales& marketing teams. You will proactively look for and communicate data insights on all stages of the sales funnel. You will also be expected to review, adapt, and initiate operational processes to support our rapidly growing business.
As a Revenue Operations Business Partner, you will:
- Position yourself as a trusted advisor and provide value-added forward-looking insights (month, quarter, year)
- Support the sales and marketing leaders of your division to define monthly objectives
- Lead and set the agenda for regular divisional insight reviews and strategy meetings
- Implement best practice in reporting that consider the different moving parts in your division (Fast SaaS, Enterprise)
- Understand and be able to articulate the customer journey from first touchpoint to completed order
- Instil good pipeline hygiene and feedback on operational changes where needed
- Embed yourself in the division and build relationships with the wider network (customer success, product, finance)
- Champion and support the roll out of sales enablement tools and empower leaders to self-serve
Your Skills and Experiences likely include:
- Experience in a Sales Operations role or have a Finance Operations background
- A degree (likely BSc) with a significant economics, analytical or financial component
- May be CIMA qualified or working in a management accounting capacity
- History of Professional Services Consultancy experience or providing advice to internal customers within a matrix managed technology business
- Knowledge of B2B SAAS based software industry or technology services businesses with retained customer contracts
- Being a self-starter, highly organised and proactive
- Managing multiple priorities and performing effectively under pressure
- Influencing others with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Developing more efficient ways of working & sharing best practice
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to solving business problems
- Ability to clearly explain trends and challenge assumptions in a friendly and collaborative manner
- Strong knowledge of sales & marketing metrics
- Expert proficiency in Excel and strong knowledge of Salesforce
