Our fabulous #TeamPeterhead are looking for caring, friendly and bubbly individuals with a positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team to join them as **Support Practitioners**. We have 16 to 32 hour contracts available. calm under pressure

**You don't need experience to start your career with us; **we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills that you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 5 or 6) qualification too

**The Role**

The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same. You'll become part of a friendly team who support three individuals to live in their own homes. Your main aim will be to give one to one support with all aspects of daily living, encouraging independence and help them to reach their goals and potential. Keeping to routines and guidelines is incredibly vital, so we are looking for people who will be bring an understanding of the importance of this.

We'll need you to be enthusiastic and creative supporting with their hobbies and interests too, these include listening to music, soaps, football, walking and going to various social events and activities not to mention the occasional day out for a bite to eat.

**All we’ll need you to bring is;**
- Confidence in lone working
- A caring and compassionate attitude and approach
- The ability to work well in a team
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Confidence in the use of computers

**Shift Patterns**

Our dedicated team provide tailored care 24/7 and shift patterns usually fall into patterns of 0800-1615 hours or 1600-0815 hours (which includes sleepover). Weekends and public holidays would form part of your rota on a rotational basis.

**Sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours and you’ll receive an additional payment of £87.20 for every sleepover shift you work.**
