**The Upex Group **is currently looking for an **Operations Assistant** to work in **Bathgate **(Immediate starts are available)

**Operations Assistant Pay Rate**: up to £10.65 per hour paid weekly

**Operations Assistant** **Hours** **of Work**:Monday to Friday

(Any 8-hour shift between 8:00 am and 18:00 pm shifts may vary)

**Operations Assistant Duties May Include**:

- Deal with incoming calls from customers, suppliers and partners concerning time-sensitive same-day shipments
- Liaise with customers in a polite and efficient manner
- Logistical assistant work including managing large distributions and specialist transports which are rotated weekly
- Admin tasks including, tracking of third-party shipments, invoice authorisation and pricing
- Providing good good customer service to customers and clients

**Operations Assistant Desired Traits Include**:

- Previous experience in an office or a call centre is essential
- Previous experience dealing with transport and distribution
- Previous experience with tracking shipments, invoicing authorisation and financial pricing
- Computer literate
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail are vital for this position.
- A strong work ethic
- Self-motivated and strong time management skills
- Flexible working availability as there are varied shifts for this role

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: Up to £10.65 per hour
