Job Title: Specifications Technologist - Egg Processing Industry

Overview:
**Main duties and responsibilities include**:
1. Send customer specifications on a daily basis, ensuring they are accurately set up on the relevant portals

2. Liasing with Suppliers

3. Dealing with M & S Farms

4. Documentation updates

5. Internal Audits

6. Liasing with internal and external departments

7. Ensuring compliance of regulatory documentation

8. Ensuring information is in line with customer labelling policies

9. Ensuring and maintaining regular communication with customers and providing updates

10. Writing of raw material specifications and internal factory specifications

11. Ability to generate flow diagrams to shows shelf life analysis

12. Support successful completion of customer third party audits and visits as well as perform food safety and GMP Audits

13. Investigation of complaints

14. Any other technical work required

**Essential requirements**

1. Working within the food industry essential

2. Food Safety Certification

3. HACCAP levels 2/3

4. Minimum 1 - 2 years experience in the same role

5. Good IT skills, Microsoft packages

6. Knowledge of GMP and BRC audits

7. Leadership qualities and team player

Rates of pay will be depending on experience.

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
