**About us**:
CTC Legal Media is a core news outlet for the industry and publishers of the globally renowned intellectual property (IP) law magazines _The Patent Lawyer_ and _The Trademark Lawyer._

With a global readership of over 60,000 IP professionals, our online platform and print products are ever-evolving in a fast-paced field. We print 14+ issues a year between our main publications and supplements, and our online platform is constantly updated.

We partner and attend many international conferences each year to distribute our publications and network.

We are an established, ambitious legal publication house and are ready to expand once again with two positions available for motivated sales professionals.

**The Role**:
As an integral part of the sales team, you can expect to:

- Manage your clients to collect materials by deadline, ensure the content is to print standard and/or work alongside the editorial team to complete the booking;
- Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients;
- Sort out and contact potential new clients;
- Collaborate with the editorial team for seamless content production;
- Manage multiple clients concurrently;
- Work to deadlines;
- Engage with clients on LinkedIn;
- Support attendance at events: represent our publications at booths during conferences, attend social networking events including parties and dinners, and be willing to travel to do so;
- Occasionally work alternative hours to reach different time zones.

Full industry and product training will be given.
- Experienced in a customer-facing/telephone role, preferable with at least 1 year of telephone sales experience or similar relevant sales experience.
- A confident conversationalist
- Good writing skills
- Motivated and conscientious
- Organized and able to work to deadlines
- Able and willing to travel internationally a few times a year, either with a colleague or alone
- Competent on LinkedIn
- Tech-savvy
- Experience with content management systems and/or using CRMs a bonus

**Further information**:
40 hours per week, generally Monday-Friday 09:00 - 17:00 with a 1 hour paid lunch but flexible working is considered, and sometimes necessary to hit different time zones.

28 days holiday including bank holidays.

Basic Salary of £19,000.00 per year with an OTE of £25,000 in your first year based on commission earned.

Subject to a six-month probation.
