Groundskeeper

We are looking for a 3 month fixed term employee to help restore the grounds from their current 'unloved' position. The site is only 1/2 acre but there is a large area of walling, drive and paving that need dedicated attention - with a secondary focus on the horticulture/agriculture of the garden. The role is flexible on hours and working patterns to suit the right individual.

**Responsibilities**:

- Repairing and repointing walls, paved areas and driveways
- Cleaning walkways and paved areas
- Maintain the grounds by mowing, edging, and fertilizing
- Help procure new equipment and consumables as required
- Organise repairs and maintaince of equipment
- Perform other general groundskeeping and building maintenance duties

**Skills**:

- Experience with operating tools and equipment commonly used in groundskeeping
- Experience self managing a groundkeeping schedule
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as needed

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 35 per week
