Our client servers most of the UK regulated water companies, with their multiple product and service frameworks, and also industrial customers in the dairy, food & beverage, and tourism sectors.

As part of their on-going investment in the UK, they are currently seeking to recruit a flexible and enthusiastic Graduate Chemical /Process Engineer to join their process design and technical support team.

**Qualifications and experience**
- BEng, HND in Chemical Engineering or related.
- 1+ year postgraduate experience in a project engineering, R & D or M&E Eng. Environment
- To have an ability to work on multiple projects or initiatives simultaneously.
- Advanced MS Office skills with the ability to analyse and manipulate data sets.
- Good report writing skills.
- Good communication skills and able to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
- Good organisational skills with a commitment to the role and a keen eye for detail.

**The Role includes**:

- Supporting the Technical Manager in the development and specification of new solutions and technologies.
- Researching and presenting technical market intelligence.
- Writing of technical report and responses for client queries
- Attending project design review meetings.
- Assisting project teams for site visits and meetings, etc.
- Liaising with project managers and engineers
- Willing to manage or support certain lower-value or local projects.
- Producing case studies of some completed projects.
- Visiting client sites and meetings as part of the information gathering process.
- Assisting with the pricing of project proposals.
- Assisting with project handovers between the Business Development and Contracts teams.
- Attending at team meetings, in person or remotely.
- Attending at certain industry meetings or events.
- Other duties as may arise from time to time that are consistent with the job-holder’s knowledge and skills.
- The Process Engineer will be expected to travel occasionally nationwide if required (including overnight stays)

Full driving license and any existing endorsements should be declared
