**Accounts Receivable Team Leader - **Inside IR35**

**Contract Term: 3 Months**

**Contracting Authority: SCCL**

**Location: Hybrid **working, a blend of home and office working 2/3 days in the Alfreton office and 2/3 days at home**

**As our **Accounts Receivable Team Leader **your main responsibilities will be to;**
- Supervise the collection and processing of customer transactions and debt in accordance with agreed standards.
- Continuously review processes and procedures and identify opportunities to improve controls and simplify services.
- Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Appropriate controls implemented and maintained to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the underlying accounting transactions and AR sub-ledgers.
- Develop high performing team.
- Ensure customer debt is continually monitored and actively chased and challenge performance based on age of debt, cash collection v’s target, DSO, adherence to payment terms, number of queries, bad debt.
- Ensure the integrity of the AR sub-ledgers..
- Provide insightful KPIs to monitor performance and inform business decisions. Ensuring the impact of changes in business activity on financial performance are understood.
- Provide input into the development and implementation of collection strategies to minimise outstanding debt and risk.
- Clean audit reports.
- Develop and maintain external stakeholder financial relationships. Ensuring effective working relationships, regular communication and the optimisation of business results.
- Monitor processes and controls to ensure transactions are recorded accurately, timely and in accordance with agreed accounting standards.
- Processes & control documented.
- Develop and lead a high performing team which collectively and individually takes ownership for delivery and has the commercial awareness and capability to proactively manage customer relationships in accordance with agreed guidelines:

- Regular 1:1s.
- PDPs.
- Objectives in place.
- Performance managed.
- Training.

**You will have the following essential criteria clearly listed on your C.V**:

- Excellent Excel skills.
- Accounts Receivable functional expert - qualified by experience.
- Management of the processing and handling of large volumes of data.
- Commercial management of customer and supplier relationships.
- Communication, negotiating and influencing skills.
- Effective problem evaluation and solution.
- Management and leadership of staff.
- Significant experience in an Accounts Receivable environment.
- Interrogation and manipulation of data electronically.
- Oracle experience.
- Strong numeric and analytical skills.
- KPI and SLA development and implementation.
- Process improvement and systems implementations**.**
