Age UK’s shops are the face of the charity. On high streets up and down the country our retail staff and volunteers deliver a great shopping experience to customers, while generating much needed income for the charity, ensuring we can provide services and support to older people who need it most.

We have exciting opportunity for a **Van Driver** to join our Team. This is an important role as it ensures stock is at the right location, at the right time, enabling the shops to generate income.
The role of a Van Driver can be physically demanding and will involve frequent lifting and moving heavy items of stock and furniture, often up and down stairs (as premises dictate.)

If you are hardworking, dedicated and have good communication skills, then we have a place for you.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to attend Manual Handling training ensuring your ability to fulfil the requirements of the role at the required pace.

You will:

- A valid UK driving photo-card licence
- The ability to work on your own at times
- Ability to work under pressure
- Personable and polite communication skills especially when dealing with our customers
- Physical strength is a must
- Ability to be adaptable, proactive and fit into whatever the business requires of you
- Have passion for the work we do at Age UK
