**Job description**:
We are looking for a Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist to join our team here at Cave Veterinary Specialists. We are happy to also consider a residency trained Clinician for the role.

Cave is a large multi-disciplinary veterinary hospital in Somerset, UK. We have a diverse specialist team, including surgery, cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, oncology and neurology,

Cave is located just off J26 of the M5 in the beautiful Somerset countryside. It is easily commutable from Exeter and Bristol.

**Your role and responsibilities**

You will be committed to developing the hospital and providing high standards of care to both our patients and referring veterinary surgeons. You must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently, supporting other clinical teams and patients in our busy hospital.

Key roles include:

- _ Work with the team to further grow and develop the internal medicine department at Cave._
- _ Work collaboratively with all other services and foster good relationships._
- _ Demonstrate professional standards that will advance patient care._
- _ Be an ambassador for the team._

**Specific experiences / qualifications / status / citizenship requirements**
- You must fulfil the following requirements:_
- _ Membership of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (or eligible to become a member)._
- _ Successful completion of a recognised ACVIM, EBVS_ or RCVS residency._
- _ Strong communication skills and professional approach._
- _ Have an excellent command of written and spoken English._
- _ Maintain a professional and caring approach in all aspects of your work._
- _ Provide evidence of your Right to Work in the UK._
