**OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF ROLE**

Work with the warehouse team to achieve high standards and meet targets. Carry out any other reasonable tasks required by Warehouse Team Leader or Warehouse Manager in association with above stated role. Operate Stores vehicles in a safe manner.

**KEY RESPONSIBILIITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- To Take receipt of Incoming Ingredients and booking into store by checking off and documenting as complying with Goods In procedures.
- Taking receipt of Incoming Hygiene Materials and booking in to store by consigning to the appropriate storage location.
- Ensuring that the safety of all products is assured by the implementation of the Company’s HACCP procedures as they relate to Stores activities.
- To report to the warehouse supervisor where the procedures have become inappropriate or ineffective.
- To monitor Pest Control in the Stores.
- To Report any problems to the Warehouse Team Leader.
- Handling, Storage, Packaging and Preservation Procedures of stock in the Store.
- Monitoring condition of Stock and Stock Rotation stock in the Stores.
- Ensuring that the ingredients that return to stores are covered properly and labelled correctly.
- Effective Picking of Ingredients to the picking list and safe transfer to production if required.
- Operating the Hold procedure as it relates to Non-Conformance of incoming and stocked ingredients and packaging.
- Operating and Maintaining Stores equipment and vehicles (i.e. Fork Lift trucks).
- To monitor the structure and installations of the Warehouse Area, maintaining Hygiene and Housekeeping.
- Disposal of Waste product and Packaging into the Waste Skips and confirmation of accurate reporting levels.
- Ensuring that all personnel pursue safe working practices.
- To Book Incoming Goods onto the computer.
- Control of Allergens as required by Allergen Management Procedures.
- To ensure housekeeping is maintained with the area kept clean and tidy at all times.
- To undertake any tasks as reasonably requested by Team Leader and Warehouse Manager.
- To ensure you report any equipment problems whether electrical, mechanical or damage.

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA & QUALFICATIONS**
- Essential training: Counterbalance and/Reach Truck Qualification (3 yearly refresher)
- Team working: demonstrates an ability to work as an active member of a team.
- Basic Food Hygiene - Training
- Health and Safety: demonstrates understanding and awareness of health and safety.
- Demonstrates knowledge of GMP
- Demonstrates an understanding of Food Safety Culture
- Demonstrate compliance with Company Rules and ensure that discipline is maintained at all times.
- Ensure that the Company Disciplinary Procedure is adhered to.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.10-£11.60 per hour
