**This role is a nights based role with any 5 from 7.**

While this role is on the recycling and waste team it is part of the wider facilities team supporting the Shirebrook campus. As part of this you may at times be asked to help other teams in the facilities depart as part of our efforts as one team to improve our support of the warehouse operation.

**Job Description**:
As a Trainee Supervisor for the Recycling & Waste department your key responsibilities will include:

- Reporting to your line manager.
- Managing to follow the company recycling strategies (Recycle. Reduce. Reuse. Dispose) within the warehouse, and adjust work plans, carried out as per process schedules.
- Maintaining the company recycling process to the highest level.
- Driving the highest standards of safety on site, ensure adherence to all safety routines/procedures (e.g., Floor Safety Inspections, Hazard Spotting, Risk Assessments).
- Maintaining a professional manner with all members of staff.
- Organize the team.
- Articulate clear goals.
- Make decisions through collective input of members.
- Empower members to challenge, when appropriate.
- Actively promote and facilitate good teamwork.
- skilful at conflict resolution.
- Use of new technology to improve efficiency and audit controls.

**Qualifications**:

- Full training will be provided.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Calm under pressure and able to see the bigger picture.
- Computer literate with an eye for detail.
