Storeperson/maintainence/driver

Our store person is retiring after 13 years and we need to replace him. We are looking for a 'can do' flexible attitude as the work we offer is varied and plans can change very quickly.

We are a rope access company carrying out civil engineering projects, as our storeperson you will be based in our Emsworth office. You will be responsible for LOLER inspecting all our safety critical kit (training will be given). You will also be expected to monitor any servicing requirements for kit and vehicles - we don't expect you to maintain the kit yourself necessarily but rather to ensure equipment is serviced/repaired/maintained in a timely manner.

Your job will also involve a fair amount of driving as we work in different locations about the country and you will be responsible for kit delivery and collection at the start and end of each job.

We would also like you to undertake some basic rope access training and will organise for you to attend a training centre to achieve your IRATA level 1 qualification. There will be occasions when we need you to carry out some site work using your abseiling skills. Actually using the kit on site will give you a greater appreciation of how important it is to maintain and safety check it.

We are a small independent company and don't have a strict hierarchy, everyone chips in to get the job done and we are are very willing to listen if you've got ideas on how to improve things.

We need you to be computer literate as we maintain our records on a cloud based system and we really need you to become comfortable and confident with that.

Pay: £12.00-£16.00 per hour
