Applications are invited for Post of Consultant Paediatrician in General Paediatrics with subspecialty interests in Cardiology. This is for 10 Programmed Activities, commencing January 2023.

South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a passionate consultant paediatrician. This Post will be based in our exciting, friendly and expanding general paediatric department of South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust.

The Directorate of Paediatrics offers service across Sunderland and South Tyneside and includes neonatology, general paediatrics, community paediatrics as well as paediatric emergency medicine. The paediatric emergency department is a distinct unit within the main body of the Emergency Department on the Sunderland site of South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team of paediatric consultants, multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary teams, to deliver healthcare for children and young people across the area of South Tyneside and Sunderland.
