**Hours**:08:30-16:30 daily, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work when we have events.

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Worker to join our brilliant team at the East Winch Wildlife Centre in Norfolk. RSPCA's East Winch Wildlife Centre has some of the best wildlife rehabilitation facilities in the country, with multiple rooms and specifically designed enclosures.

We would love to hear from you if you are reliable, have a keen eye for detail, and have relevant experience and solid technical knowledge.

**Here's some of the key work that you will be doing...**
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (HVAC), as well as boilers and water systems.
- Assisting and managing external contractors.
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarms)
- Site maintenance, lawn mowing, strimming, weeding, pruning and general upkeep of borders and fields.
- Check control panels and perform minor fixes.
- General tidying and cleaning of the site.
- Vehicle care and general maintenance and cleaning.
- PAT testing (if qualified).
- Cleaning and clearance of grounds.
- Health and safety inspections.

**What we are looking for in you...**
- Proven experience in a maintenance/handyperson/groundsperson role.
- Technical knowledge and aptitude for maintenance work and handling a range of equipment, e.g. power tools.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable.
- Able to work under pressure.
