**The Role: Claims Administrator**

You will assist the team with providing a quality Claims service to Citynet’s Agents and Underwriters in order to ensure the Customer is treated fairly in all transactions and correspondence and for that service to encourage the client to continue using Citynet and contribute to the future success of the company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Learn a basic level of a variety of classes of business including liability, property and professional indemnity claims.
- Provide administrative support to the claims department, including diary management ensuring efficient and organised claims processing.
- Setting up new claims on internal system and issuing acknowledgements to clients/underwriters
- Assist in the input, maintenance, and retrieval of claims data using the ECF/CLASS system, including processing expert fee invoices.
- Collaborate with claims handlers, underwriters, and other internal teams to facilitate seamless claims resolution.
- Compiling claims experiences, ensuring that reserving is accurate, and obtaining the present position.
- Data cleansing as and when required.
- Assisting in ad hoc claims projects to improve the company’s claims service.
- Support the claims manager as and when required.
- Prepare and maintain accurate claims documentation, including correspondence, reports, and records.
- Communicate effectively with clients, external vendors, and stakeholders to gather necessary information and resolve queries.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all claims administrative processes.
- Support the continuous improvement of claims handling procedures and contribute to enhancing overall department efficiency.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in London market insurance claims.
- Proficient in the use of the ECF/CLASS system for claims processing.
- Attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
- Basic knowledge of insurance policies and procedures within the London market.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
