Our bereavement team provide compassionate support to patients and families, facilitate healing and assist individuals in navigating the complex journey of grief and loss.

**About the role**:
We are looking for a Bereavement Counsellor to provide high-quality clinical assessments and one-to-one bereavement support for people wishing to access the Hospice Bereavement Service.

This pivotal role plays a significant part in enabling us to deliver our commitment to holistic, person-centered care.

**About You**:
Working in a supportive team, committed to delivering a professional service, you will have at least two years’ post-qualification experience as a counsellor, a strong understanding of bereavement and significant loss, good knowledge, skills, and experience in conducting client assessments - plus if you’ve supervised volunteers or hold a qualification in supervision, that’s a bonus

You’ll excel at building culturally sensitive, empathetic, and non-judgmental working relationships with clients and colleagues. Your excellent interpersonal skills, friendly telephone manner, IT competence and organised approach will also make you a valuable addition to our team.
