Title: Corporate Cleaner

**Overall Purpose of Job**

To provide a high quality and customer focused cleaning service to Ongo Corporate Buildings, retirement living schemes and high rise blocks
- 12 month contract position £6,908.95 p.a.
- Mon-Fri 06:00- 08:30
- 12.5 hours per week

**Main Responsibilities**

Ensure the cleanliness, security and safety of internal communal areas to an agreed standard and frequency, following the cleaning specification and direction of the Neighbourhood Services Team leader. This includes:

- Cleaning, disinfecting halls, landings, laundries, toilets & kitchens, lifts and other publicly used internal areas.
- Sweeping, litter-picking, bin disinfecting and emptying
- Mopping / vacuuming of floors, stairs, landings and walkways, work-surfaces.
- Removal of ingrained dirt from all surfaces, including deep cleaning if required.
- Replenishment of toilet rolls, hand towels & hand soap
- Rotating of bins at high rise blocks

Ensure there are no hazards in communal areas within Ongo Corporate Buildings, take immediate action to remove hazards and report to the cleaning supervisor.

Report any hazards/issues in retirement living schemes or High rise locks in line with the sterile communal policy.

Comply with COSHH and risk assessments, before use of chemical or activity, using correct chemicals and other products and maintaining accurate records.

To ensure that all internal communal areas are kept free from rubbish.

To ensure all external communal areas are kept free from rubbish, reported and removed, including those under the responsibility of NLC such as refuge collection, fly tipping, bulky waste collection etc.

Report any concerns in relation to incidents of anti-social behaviour, criminal activity, domestic violence or safeguarding.

Report any defects, repairs in line with ongo processes.

Ensure adequate levels of stock of cleaning materials are maintained.

Maintain accurate records including hours worked.

Act as a representative of Ongo at all times, maintaining a professional and customer focussed approach to all customers and stakeholders, whilst following relevant policies and procedures.

- Health & Safety awareness
- COSHH awareness
- Experience of commercial cleaning or other relevant work area.
- Ability to organise and plan own workload/time management skills
- Flexibility
- Physically fit
- Good communication skills - written and verbal
- Committed to quality customer service
- Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
- Ability to work flexibly, including evening/weekend working.
- Full clean driving licence - would be desirable.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 12.5 per week

**Salary**: £6,908.95 per year
