Production Supervisor

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced **Production Supervisor / Production Team Leader** to join a long-standing market-leading organisation. This is an exciting and varied role based just outside Tranent, within an easy commute of Edinburgh, Dalkeith and Haddington, and set in the beautiful East Lothian countryside, you must have your own transport due to the location of the site.

Hours are on a rota base, 40h per week and you will report to the Production Manager and be responsible for managing a team of up to 50 staff. Your job will be to manage and co-ordinate the activities of production personnel to achieve production metrics including throughput, changeover times, minimising downtime and driving ongoing improvement, while optimizing the manufacturing process for increased productivity. You will also recommend / implement improvements to standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement in production and safety.

We are looking for a person fluent in English and Romanian, Bulgarian or Polish.
