Carpenter/joiner

A position is available for a carpenter/joiner/cabinet maker to join our close knit team within a well established company.

Marine or leisure vehicle industry experience an advantage but not essential, previous experience in cabinet making or high end shopfitting would be suitable.
- Minimum 5 years experience in carpentry/joinery/cabinet making
- Experience with handheld power tools
- A keen eye for details throughout a build
- Able to work to an efficient pace and maintain workshop to a clean standard
- A varied skill set and a creative, innovative mindset.

**Duties will include**:

- Construction of cabinets and cupboards
- Cutting, shaping and fitting of worktops
- Fitting of cladded walls and ceilings
- Conceiving, creating and building new features using wood
- Scribing
- Carry out a variety of tasks associated with the proper preparation, assembling and building of wooden products
- Effectively operate a variety of machines and tools to cut, prepare and assemble products
- Working to a high standard of quality and able to identify potential quality issues and provide resolutions
- Clean work areas, machines, and equipment, to maintain a clean and safe work area

**Salary**: £31,200.00-£45,760.00 per year
