Are you a Food Technology Teacher looking for a post starting from January and keen to work in a well-run, professional, and high achieving secondary school?

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated secondary school to recruit a Food Technology Teacher to start as soon as possible. The school are keen to speak with experienced or recently qualified teachers able to offer Food Technologyto key stage 3 and 4.

About the School - Food Technology Teacher This fantastic school has a History of excellence and high achievement, pupils here excel at school and enjoy the challenges of learning and progression. Teaching here is as it should be, full support of SLT, departmentHeads and clear and concise polices designed with teacher backing, ensure pupils are given the very best opportunity to succeed. Class sizes are between 20-30 and the department utilises a technician and LSA's to support pupils with specific needs.

**The successful food tech teacher is expected to:
- Effectively teach KS3-KS4 curriculum to the highest standards.

- Assess and mark pupils work, monitoring progression levels.
- Deliver fun and engaging lessons that also challenge and develop learning.

- Communicate effectively with pupils, parents and other staff members.
- Be committed to the schools objectives and teach in line with their ethos.

**Role requirements**
- QTS Teacher or unqualified Teacher with degree level qualification and Class based experience
- The ability to teach Food Tech to Key stage 3 and 4.
- Professional attitude to teaching
- Be available to interview as soon as possible
- Experience of teaching high achieving pupils
