Fire Risk Assessor

Tersus Consultancy is currently seeking a Fire Risk Assessor to join our property compliance services team. As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will conduct fire safety risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential fire hazards in a range of properties. You will help our clients comply with fire safety regulations while ensuring their occupants are safe from fire hazards. As a member of our team, you will have access to our network of regional offices and laboratories, gaining experience in all sectors across the UK.
Tersus Consultancy offers trusted advice in the delivery of asbestos services, property compliance services (including fire safety and legionella risk assessment services) as well as project management and training. **Responsibilities**:
- Conduct fire safety risk assessments in accordance with current fire safety regulations and provide suitable recommendations for remedial actions
- Produce clear and concise fire safety reports
- Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to schedule appointments and discuss assessment findings
- Provide fire safety advice and guidance to clients to help them meet their legal requirements
- Conduct fire safety training sessions for clients and their employees
- Keep up-to-date with changes in fire safety legislation and industry best practices
- Attend client meetings as required
**Requirements**:
- Relevant degree or qualification in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety
- Proven experience in conducting fire risk assessments
- Knowledge of current fire safety regulations and legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and other stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate potential fire hazards
- A proactive approach to work and a commitment to achieving objectives and meeting deadlines
- A full, clean driving license is required as this role may involve travel to different locations.
