**Warehouse Operative Responsibilities**:

- Manage the warehouse in compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, safety, and maintenance operations.
- Optimise space utilisation by setting up an efficient layout.
- Initiate, coordinate, and enforce operational policies and procedures for optimal efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security within the warehouse.
- Manage stock control.
- Picking orders.
- Loading/unloaded deliveries.
- Driving company 3.5t truck to move stock to factory.

**Warehouse Operative Requirements and Skills**:

- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Operative, demonstrating a strong track record of success.
- Experience working with warehouse procedures and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Counterbalance & Flexi/Bendi forklift licence.
- Full UK Driving licence.

**Additional information**:

- Location - Braintree.
- Salary - The first 39 hours per week are paid at £13 per hour and the remaining 4 hours per week are paid at £19.5 per hour
- Working hours - 43 per week (7:15am-5:15pm Mon-Thurs, 7:15am-3:15pm Fri). Due to the nature of the role, we are unable to consider alternative working hours
- This role involves physical exertion, including lifting 25kg boxes
