Credit Controller

**The Role**

The Credit Controller role is paramount to the operational effectiveness and trading power of the business. The finance leadership team are keen to secure the services of an experienced credit control professional that can perform a stand-alone role, butalso with the ability to review and develop processes, procedures, controls & systems.

This will provide the successful individual with a remit to put their own stamp on the role to drive efficiency, which should create capacity to get involved in wider finance & projects within time.

**On Offer**

The position of Credit Controller is based in Fife and easily accessible via Rosyth, Dunfermline, Dalgety Bay, Kirkcaldy, Leven, Inverkeithing, Burntisland, Glenrothes, Lochgelly. The role will offer:

- £25,000 - £32,000 base salary
- Pension

**You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties**:

- Reporting to the Head of Finance with a dotted line to the Director of Finance
- Reviewing and developing sales ledger & credit control processes, procedures, controls & systems
- Commercial and operational reporting - aged debt reports, unallocated cash, problematic accounts/customers, bad debt escalation
- Setting up and maintaining of new customer/accounts including credit checks, credit limits and payment terms
- Processing of online banking transactions, credit/debit card payments, direct debits and cheques
