Hse Co-ordinator

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

**Duties**:

- To work with the Technical Compliance Manager to ensure all operational elements of the contract meet with high standards of H&S at all times
- Report and investigate incidents / accidents with an aim to learn from experience by introducing corrective and preventative actions as necessary.
- Advises EMCOR UK staff on HSE-related matters.
- Conducts regular inspections, safety audits and hazard assessments of work locations, work groups, projects and individuals at the assigned job location
- Serves as core member of EMCOR UK emergency response team across the contract.
- Understands, embraces and integrates EMCOR UK corporate HSE values into everyday duties and responsibilities.
- Champion behavioral safety and H&S campaigns to improve organisational culture.
- Champion Safety Observation Reports and incident / accident reporting across the contract.
- Create and maintain the environmental impacts and aspects register for the contract.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and best practice.
- Assist with the development and delivery of training programs.
- Lead by example and maintain a high profile with staff and on site at all levels.
- To comply with instructions relating to security and confidentiality

**Person Specification**:
**Skills**:

- Previous experience within a similar role.
- IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH Certification.
- Professional Membership to IOSH or equivalent.
- Good interpersonal and customer relationship skills
- Knowledge of OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 systems and their implementation.
- Takes ownership and accountability and demonstrates commitment, loyalty and flexibility.
- Valid UK driving licence
