Bartender/server

Job Title: Bartender

**Duties**:

- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Utilize retail math skills to accurately calculate prices and handle cash transactions
- Operate a cash register to process payments and provide accurate change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glassware
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating needs, offering suggestions, and resolving any issues or complaints
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality preferred but not required
- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and their preparation methods preferred but not required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Must be at least 18 years old (or legal drinking age in the respective location)
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 4-8 per week

**Salary**: £9.00-£11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 30 per week
