**PARCEL SORTING OPERATIVE -DHL**

**FULL TIME - AM SHIFTS AVAILABLE**

**Chester, CH1 6**

We are recruiting Warehouse operatives for our client **DHL** a worldwide logistics company to join their Chester depot.
- **Role** - Parcel sorting operative
- **Location**:

- Chester, CH1
- **Shifts** - Mon - Fri
- **Hours** - 06AM-16PM
- **Pay: £10.20** per hour
- **Pay Saturdays**:Additional £1 per hour on top of above rates
- **Pay Sundays**:Additional £2 per hour on top of above rates

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Scanning - processing all incoming and outgoing shipments in line with company compliance procedures
- Manual lifting of shipments is required.
- Sorting parcels by hand into compartments on a sorting frame.
- Observing Health & Safety Rules and keeping warehouse clean.
- Bagging and labelling parcels for

**REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE**
- The ability to prioritise and have an eye for detail
- Good communication skills - written and verbal
- The ability to demonstrate great teamwork
- Weekly pay every Friday
- 28 days paid holiday
- Break room with full facilities, fridge/microwave etc

** SECURITY CHECKS **

As this role is connected to a major UK airport applicants must be willing for Avtav to complete the following process on their behalf in line with Aviation Security Regulations.
- 5 year employment history check
- UK criminal record check
- International criminal record check if in the country for more than 6 months
- Relevant aviation security training completed in house by Avtav (not cost to applicant)

**Job Types**: Temporary contract, Full-time

**Salary**: £10.20-£12.20 per hour
