**Job title**:I.T Trainer - Design & Delivery Specialist**

**Overview of project/role**:
The purpose of this role is to work with the Tech & Data (T&D) Design and Delivery Lead Specialists and stakeholders from across TfL to design, development and deliver learning interventions to help meet business objectives.
The role holder will also:
- Provide support and guidance for users of T&D Learning & Development (L&D) training interventions.
- Bring a creative and innovative perspective to organisational learning.
- Promote a culture of learning in line with TfL’s values that supports TfL’s commitment to delivering improved organisational performance and effectiveness.
- Play a key role in the embedding of, compliance to and improvement of global Hire to Retire L&D processes.
- Specialise in one of the following areas, whilst also being expected to cover any of the others as required: SAP, IM programmes, Customer Experience and Asset Management systems.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Support the design, development, delivery and evaluation of T&D L&D related learning interventions across TfL e.g. IM programmes, SAP, Customer Experience, Office 365 and Asset Management Systems
- Fix any issues, manage non-attendance and respond to feedback to continually improve the T&D L&D offering to ensure it is fit for purpose
- Assist with the maintenance and administration of TfL’s Learning Management System and online learning platforms.
- Support Customers by resolving queries and managing their expectations through education on L&D products and initiatives.
- Gather and analyse training feedback to enable improvements and updates to courses to be made; share feedback insights and trends with T&D Design and Delivery Leads
- Support people managers and stakeholders to define the learning and training needs available to their employees and to promote the services of online learning
- Contribute to driving required cultural attributes across the L&D team including a focus on compliance and service delivery, customer service excellence, and a focus on controlled continuous improvement
- Deliver on agreed performance metrics for L&D
- Ensure that L&D activities and interventions are high-impact, that internal customers value ‘learning’, and that they have a positive experience of the Learning and Development team as well as continually seeking ways to improve learning activity
- Work with the Design and Delivery Lead Specialists as a learning SME - provide feedback on supplier designs to ensure appropriate learning quality
**Knowledge**:
- Knowledge of Learning and Development processes across the employee lifecycle
- Knowledge of learning systems and content development
- Knowledge of management development and staff development delivery
- Knowledge of working with third party suppliers in the learning and skills area
- Knowledge in a key T&D L&D delivery area:
- SAP domain knowledge - eg SAP HR / Finance
- IM programmes - eg End User Computing, Office 365
- Customer Experience training and related programmes - eg Visitor Centres, CCO
- Asset Management systems used by TfL - eg Maximo/Ellipse
- Document Management Systems - eg Sharepoint, TDM/LivelinkTfL/LU IM systems, SAP, Contact Centre Operations or Asset management systems
- Knowledge of digital instructional design
**Skills**:
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- An understanding of how to design learning interventions across TfL through various methods to meet business needs
- Can create learning content to meet business needs
- Can design and facilitate face to face and virtual learning interventions
- Can design and develop learning content in a variety of media (eg video, digital guides)
- Familiarity with Articulate 360 eg Rise /Replay / Storyline

**Experience**:
- Experience of working in a Learning and Development function
- Experienced professional of working in a Business Services environment
- Experience of working with third parties to deliver learning solutions of a high standard
- Experience of designing and developing T&D learning interventions in at least one of the T&D specialist areas (IM programmes/SAP/ Customer Experience - Contact Centre Ops or asset management systems)
- Experience of designing, developing and delivering digital content using relevant software eg Articulate 360
