Depot Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:
Responsible for the preparation and the onsite delivery of our traffic light installations. The role requires you to manage a team of around ten people, ensuring they are suitably prepared to arrive at our client's site with the aim of completing our installation works within the programmed timescales. As the supervisor, whilst our installations are taking place, your main priority is to ensure our H&S procedures are followed, with the aim of ensuring the safety of our teams, our client, and the public always
This role requires our teams to be flexible as the service we provide is available to our clients 24/7/365 days a year. As such this will involve you working days, and occasional weekends.
To enable you to assess if you could fulfil this role successfully, we have provided a few essential and desirable skills and experiences:
**Desirable Qualifications**:
- GCSEs in English and Mathematics
- City and Guilds, qualification or equivalent in highways installations
- Sector 8 Accreditation, Health, and Safety qualifications, including NRSWA, G39, and ECS)
- IT literate
**Essential Experience**:
- The ability to work alone and as part of a team
- The ability to work at heights
- Full driving license - No more than 6 points
- Travel and stay away within the UK
- The role will be 80/20 split between the site and, depot work
- Experienced in the supervision of onsite works
- Worked within a Highways environment
- The ability to prioritizes their own and the activities of others
**Desirable Experience**:
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Basic knowledge of traffic signals theory (phases/stages/detection)
**Training**
Where required, we may need you to attend some additional supervisor training courses to aid you in developing in this this role.
