Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Global Security is charged with providing high-quality and reliable services. The organization is committed to supporting Chevron businesses in achieving their respective business objectives through the delivery of policies and programs designed to protect Chevron's people and assets.
- Provide security and risk management advice to company leadership grounded in an understanding of national, regional, global geopolitical, and security issues that impact Chevron personnel and assets.
- Conduct security risk and management assessments at company facilities and recommend risk-based security safeguards to protect company personnel and assets; support emergency planning and response; provide integrated security assistance to enable the safe and secure execution of major business decisions, projects, and base business operations.
- Advise on and implement best-practice and cost-effective risk-based security policies and procedures.
- Conduct and manage Global Security-led investigations in accordance with company policy and procedures. Investigations may include but are not limited to allegations of fraud, conflict of interest, misuse of company assets, policy violations, intellectual property loss and theft.
- Utilize Global Security’s Physical, Technical & Procedural (PTP) Security guidance to provide expert advice to stakeholders in relation to major capital projects and other significant business decisions.
- Prepare investigative reports and brief senior management and company legal representatives on investigative findings.
- Serve as a representative on company investigations boards when required.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with US, UK and other embassies, energy industry counterparts, and other private sector security professionals.
- Provide executive protection support for senior company officers when required.
- Participate in the planning and execution of security services for special events and other major company activities.
- Perform other duties as determined by Global Security management.
- The role requires regular travel and time away from the office
- This position requires significant international travel.
- This position requires occasional work outside of normal business hours.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in law enforcement, military and/or corporate security
- Experience conducting complex investigations.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated initiative and a proven ability to lead and motivate others.
- A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing, as well as to deliver presentations comfortably and capably to high-level executives and government officials
- Must have a valid UK passport or be able to obtain one shortly after being hired.

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience conducting sensitive investigations with national security implications.
- International work-related experience
- Foreign language ability

Relocation will be considered within Chevron parameters.

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
