- **Outline Job Description**:_
- To ensure that all interactions with guests are positive and always deliver excellent guest care.
- To undertake all duties within the department including porter tasks and ensuring the department runs smoothly.
- To be aware of daily events always taking place in the hotel to allow you to answer any queries from guests and show them to their allocated function rooms.
- To take responsibility for guest luggage, making sure it is stored correctly, and is correctly labelled.
- To have excellent knowledge of the local area, including attractions, transportation systems, theatre, tourist sights, sporting activities, shops, and restaurants.
- To book or confirm guest transportation, flights, car, and boats and log it correctly.
- To demonstrate a good working knowledge of in-room services to allow this to be shared with guests and provide assistance when needed.
- To carry out a clear and precise handover on every shift.
- To keep all information up to date and source information that will aid the concierge department.
- Valid UK driving license is essential for the role as valet parking is offered to all guests.

Experience within the hotel industry is preferable but not necessary, full training will be provided.

This position will include shifts working Saturday and Sunday. Additional hours may be required to support the hotel during our busier periods, including bank holidays.

Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
