- 3-6 Month Temporary Position based in Stockport

**About Our Client**:
My client is a government owned company which supports the NHS. Their portfolio comprises more than 3,000 properties across the UK. Their long-term goal, is looking for ways to innovate and collaborate with NHS colleagues locally, regionally and nationally to support and transform the NHS.

**The key responsibilities of an Accounts Payable Assistant** **will include, but may not be limited to;**
- Processing invoices
- Making payments to contractors
- General administrative duties
- Resolving issues and queries
- Assist in the month end and year end timetable
- Reconcile supplier statements in a timely manner
- Process weekly BACS payments

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Public Sector and Government background OR NHS desirable
- Accounts Payable background
- Ability to commute to Stockport
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- To be able to work towards deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Confident using a wide range of IT systems
