**What is the Internship Placement?**

In your intern placement here at EDF you will be working within the Heysham 1 Power Station in Engineering with a particular focus on supporting Equipment Reliability.

You will be involved in the production of Equipment Reliability Reviews (ERRs). The intention of the ERR is optimise and improve the performance of a given system.

The ERRs are a key tool for communicating business risk to the wider organisation.

The start date for this internship is to be confirmed.

**What you can expect**:
You will be involved in facilitating a pre-job brief with the appropriate Responsible Engineer and stakeholders, and then defining the scope of the report. The system data is downloaded, including defects, maintenance reviews and modifications that have been carried out within the reporting period. This information is then reviewed to produce recommendations that will make improvements to the system performance.

**Where you’ll work**:
This opportunity will be based on-site at Heysham 1 Power Station.

**What you’ll need to apply**:

- Expected final grade of 2:2 or above in your degree discipline, predominantly mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar discipline degrees.
- A highly organised and numerate individual with an analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Strong team work skills, ability to share views and support colleagues.
- Excellent communication, influencing and organisational skills.
