**What You'll Do**:

- Develop and implement a plan to manage the Value-Added Tax (VAT) for the entire group.
- Review existing operations in UK, US, Europe and Asia to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with VAT legislation.
- Continuous improvement of the group's VAT processes to ensure they are fit for purpose and operating efficiently.
- Manage the statutory VAT reporting requirement for the different jurisdictions in which we are registered, including UK, Ireland, Belgium and Germany.
- Advising/training internal stakeholders, providing sound advice for existing operations and advising on new bids.
- Communicating VAT risks succinctly and clearly to non-finance colleagues.
- Engaging in proactive and regular contact with key internal stakeholders and their teams to improve awareness of VAT.
- Escalating risks internally within the team as appropriate.
- Support with end-of-year tax returns as required.
- Deputise for Senior Financial Accountant.

**What You'll Need**:

- Bachelor’s degree (in a finance field preferred)
- Accounting designation (ACA, ATT, CTA, ACCA) preferred or qualified by experience
- Proficient in Xero accounting, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar
- Computer Literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Effective Verbal and written communication skills
