PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Role Overview
The site initiative lead is responsible for the control and execution of new product initiatives entering the site.
Working with the Technical product services team, the site initiative lead will closely coordinate with the Planning, Global Initiative, Production, Research & Development and Technical product services team to deliver site executed new product developments to the business to ensure the delivery of functions outlined below.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop and own end to end the Supply Chain readiness Critical Path Schedule for their supply chain supporting the Site Initiative Leaders in obtaining the relevant inputs. Lead actions to fulfill Estimate Standard Cost and Final Standard Cost and feasibility assessment completeness. Ensuring each site functional representative has done proper work to keep Critical Path Schedule, cost and Quality on track and lead resolution where this is lacking. Ensuring attendance for regular (weekly) project update and any kick-off meetings from relevant personnel including - as needed - Research & Development (Packaging and Formulation), Engineering, Production Planning, Initiative Planner, Procurement and Finance with the objective of reviewing current Critical Path Schedule and achieving milestone adherence. Raising and approval of risk forms when required to secure Supply Chain readiness. Support in management of Experimental Orders and line trials where issues in securing the Production downtime needed, material availability and all necessary systems set ups are encountered. Creation of alerts raised in case of any issue which cannot be seamlessly contained and resolved within the factory and Planning hub perimeter. Delivery and execution of action plans for any supply chain issues identified during project lifetime in collaboration with Initiative Planner as needed. Link with Initiative Planners to manage Phase In Phase Out and factory corresponding technical actions to enable resolution plans and synchronization with overall project plan. Maintain local factory tracking documents and Innovation Management local scorecard for all New Product Developments. Provide additional support in coordination of factory tasks for execution of in house secondary packaging operations such as Work In Progress product supplied internally or externally. Engage with Global Initiative Leader to validate handover sufficiency, raising concerns to leadership on any missing key elements.
**Skills**:
Strong knowledge and experience in the principle functions of Planning, and deep knowledge of the New Product Development process to include systems and project management.
Strong project management skills to include initiating change, time management, co-ordination and communication.
Working knowledge of business project management tools to include Microsoft Project, spreadsheets, Manufacturing Resource Planning and SAP.
