Kennel Hand

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Hand to join our team. The Kennel Hand will assist in the care and well-being of animals at our facility, ensuring a safe and clean environment for all pets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean kennels, cages, and animal living areas
- Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the supervisor
- Assist with bathing and grooming of animals
- Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
- Interact with pet owners and provide excellent customer service
- Assist with animal handling and restraint as needed

Qualifications:

- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Experience in animal care is preferred
- Knowledge of basic veterinary procedures is a plus
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners effectively

Pay: £7.77-£11.47 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
