You will be the glue that pulls it all together and can be relied upon by our managers and coordinators to ensure that exceptional customer service is always delivered. You will be a hands-on team player willing to assist in the common goal of exceptional event delivery.

This is a permanent full-time position based at Southwood Hall NR13 3LR.

**Job outline**

Tasks will vary throughout the week and be dictated by the events we are delivering. You can expect to fill your week by:
Greeting guests and supporting client meetings

Preparing cutlery, crockery, linens and equipment

Ensuring furniture is placed appropriately and ceremony spaces prepared

Laying tables and assisting clients in placing their finishing touches

Leading the event day team, supervising others and directing their tasks

Serving food and beverages

Supporting the Head Chef preparing crockery and service areas with associated styling

Overseeing outside suppliers such as décor installers and entertainers

Ensuring accommodation is ready for guest arrival and checking guests in

Being the rock that the whole team can rely on

Be willing to help in every aspect of the business to show off your skills

You will need to be physically fit and have your own transportation.

You must have front of house and customer facing experience, ideally in a similar role.

Hours will include evenings and weekends as necessary dictated by our diary. An average of 40 hours per week will be set with flexibility required to cover busy periods with time off in lieu during quieter periods.

In exchange we offer a competitive £24,000 annual salary, a stunning work location, a rewarding role allowing you to make a real contribution to very special occasions and a great friendly award-winning team to be a part of. Support and progression to develop into a more senior position is available for those willing to learn.
