Enthusiastic and conscientious people with excellent customer service skills are required to join the team at Dunnottar Castle over the summer season.

The role involves:
- Working in Castle ticket kiosk for 1.5 hour shifts, taking card payments for on-site ticket sales, checking in pre-purchased online tickets, selling guidebooks/postcards.
- Cleaning designated areas around Castle.
- Completing designated maintenance tasks such as painting, weeding and light gardening.

Key Skills:
- Customer service experience, including dealing with difficult situations.
- Motivation, enthusiasm and initiative.
- Flexibility and adaptability.

The post is for 2.5 days per week, from circa end of May/beginning of June to end of September.

Primarily weekend working, shifts will be on Friday/Saturday or Sunday/Monday with a further half day on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Flexibility to cover additional shifts for holiday cover beneficial.

Hours of work are: - 2 days from 08:30 - 18:30 and 1 day from 12:00 - 18:30.

Applicants should be 18 and over from start date and have a good level of physical fitness.

Applicants should be able to arrive at the Castle for the times outlined above. Applicants who do not live locally would benefit from being able to drive and have own transport as public transport timetables do not meet the required start times at weekends.
